Dr. Erin Power offers gentle, patient-centred dental care for patients of all ages, with a strong focus on prevention and minimally invasive treatment. A lifelong Dartmouth resident and proud Dartmouth High graduate, she is happy to be caring for patients in the community she calls home.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During her studies, she was selected as one of only four students to participate in the inaugural Dental Public Health Elective, shaping her long-standing commitment to increasing access to dental care. Dr. Power is known for her calm, compassionate approach with children and anxious patients, and for taking the time to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care.
Dr. Power spent many years providing dental care in rural and remote communities, including eight years as the sole dentist for the Inuit communities of Nain and Hopedale in Northern Labrador. She is thrilled to be back home in Dartmouth and honoured to join the Miller family.
Outside the office, Dr. Power enjoys hiking, rowing on Lake Banook, playing fiddle tunes, and exploring local cafés and thrift shops. She absolutely loves music, and you may even hear her humming while she works—song requests welcome!
